Inspiration

This artwork is a joyful reinterpretation of my original Celestial Elephant painting, reimagined through a new and vibrant colour palette. It continues my celebration of the beauty, grace, and deep symbolism of elephants within Indian culture. Drawing on the rich decorative traditions of Indian folk art, I’ve combined intricate pattern, bold colour, and symmetry with my own contemporary style to create a piece that feels both uplifting and timeless.

My fascination with elephants comes from their gentle spirit, intelligence, and quiet strength. Seeing these magnificent animals up close during a trip to Kenya left a lasting impression on me, and that sense of awe and reverence continues to shape my work.
