Inspiration 

This painting was inspired by the wildflowers blooming in our garden during May. Every few days, we'd step outside to gather handfuls of these flowers, arranging them into small bouquets and placing them in jam jars to brighten up our home.

This vibrant still life has a very strong emphasis on colour and form. The background is a striking combination of bright yellows and deep oranges in contrast to the purples, blues, and greens of the wildflowers.
