Inspiration

I've always had a fascination with doors and the mystery of what lies behind them. I particularly love seeing them in paintings, as they invite viewers to imagine their own stories about the building and its inhabitants. Living in a picturesque English village, I'm surrounded by charming buildings with historic stone architecture and exquisite front doors. One autumn day, I took my camera and photographed over 100 front doors from various buildings, with this particular door becoming a favourite.
