'Life by the Sea' Print

Inspiration

This painting was inspired by a trip to Maiori Beach on the Amalfi Coast during a heatwave in June. The sky was an incredible shade of blue, and the sand was scorching underfoot. The only relief from the heat was seeking shelter under the parasol, then dashing across the burning sand before plunging into the refreshing sea. 

Description

This painting uses a vivid colour palette focusing on the different shades of blue and yellow creating a cheerful view of sun, sea, and sand. The blue sky contains effective blocks of colour with the swirling patterns imitated in the sand, causing depth and movement. The vibrant yellow of the umbrella dominates much of the composition, casting a shadow of warm, deep oranges.

A fine art giclee print on high quality smooth matte 200gsm paper. Each piece has been carefully profiled to ensure the prints are as accurate to the originals as possible. With care these prints will be long lasting. 

Please note: prints sized A4 and under will come in a flat envelope. All other sizes will be carefully wrapped in tissue paper and rolled in a cardboard postal tube. Due to the heavyweight quality paper, the rolled prints will need to be left on a flat surface to naturally flatten.
