'Light' Print

Inspiration

This painting was inspired by a trip to the Amalfi Coast in June. We had just disembarked from a boat as the sun was setting, and the sky was so clear you could see countless shades of blue. Vintage lamp posts lined the harbour, casting a warm golden light against the deepening evening sky.

Description

This detailed and intricate painting uses bold brushstrokes to create a sense of movement. Slightly expressive in style, the placement of dark blue and green in conjunction with the lighter hues, create a great sense of depth, hinting at an almost dreamlike quality. The bright flashes of orange and yellow tie in with the warm glow cast by the 3 lights.

A fine art giclee print on high quality platinum etching 285gsm paper. Each piece has been carefully profiled to ensure the prints are as accurate to the originals as possible. With care these prints will be long lasting. 

Please note: prints sized A5 will come in a flat envelope. All other sizes will be carefully wrapped in tissue paper and rolled in a cardboard postal tube. Due to the heavyweight quality paper, the rolled prints will need to be left on a flat surface to naturally flatten.
