Inspiration

The sea is where I feel my happiest — there’s something magical about slipping into the water, watching the light ripple through shades of blue and green, and feeling that sense of calm wash over me.

Tropical fish, with their dazzling colours and gentle movements, capture that same serenity and joy. This painting is inspired by unforgettable swims in the warm waters of Mauritius and Kenya — moments where I felt completely immersed in beauty, wonder, and peace.

I’ve poured those feelings into this piece, so that whenever you look at it, you can be transported to that same sense of stillness, happiness, and connection with the sea.
